πŸ—οΈ Automation settings control when outreach actions occur. This ensures users do not exceed LinkedIn limits and helps maintain account safety.

⚠️ Important: Running automations during the same times users are logged into LinkedIn may trigger shared login warnings.

Set the Schedule

  1. Open the automation and click the Settings (cog) icon.

  2. Choose the days of the week the automation should run.

  3. Keep schedules to five days per week to reduce risk of account restrictions.

Choose the Time Zone

  1. Select the appropriate time zone for the audience being targeted.

  2. Users based in the UK but messaging U.S. recipients may switch to U.S. time zones.

  3. Ensure the schedule aligns with working hours of the target region.

Set Run Times

  1. Choose one or more run-time windows during which actions may occur.

  2. Running automations outside the user’s normal working hours reduces login conflicts.

  3. Allow at least 4–5 hours of run time per day for optimal performance.

Understand Limit Considerations

  1. LinkedIn limits connection requests to 100–150 per week, depending on account age.

  2. Elay typically sends 17–20 connection requests per day to remain within limits.

  3. Messages and InMails also have soft limits; excessive activity may trigger warnings.

  4. InMails are capped at 50 per day, though the system currently sends fewer for safety.

πŸ’‘ Best Practices

  • Set schedules during low-login periods for the user.

  • Use two daily run windows to distribute outreach more naturally.

  • Adjust time zones when targeting overseas markets.
