Custom Fields on Candidate and Client Records

Learn how to add custom information fields to your Candidate and Client records in Access Automate CRM, and how these sync with Vincere including chatbot-collected values.

Written by Terence Cassidy

Access Automate CRM now supports custom fields on Candidate and Client records, allowing you to capture and store information that's specific to your business — beyond the standard fields provided by default.

What Are Custom Fields?

Custom fields let you define additional data points that matter to your team and store them directly on a Candidate or Client record. Once configured, these fields appear alongside your standard record information and can be populated manually or through your chatbot.

Key Capabilities

  • Add custom fields directly to Candidate records and Client records.

  • Supported field types include text, dropdown, and multi-select.

  • Values collected via the chatbot sync reliably to Vincere, including dropdown and multi-select values.

  • All custom field data is stored in one place, keeping records clean and complete.

Chatbot Sync with Vincere

When a candidate or client completes a chatbot flow that includes custom field questions, their answers are automatically synced to the corresponding custom fields in Vincere. This includes dropdown and multi-select responses, which are mapped and saved correctly.

📌 Note: If a custom field question is skipped in the chatbot, no value is written to the CRM — the field is left blank rather than filled with a placeholder.
